LSPE-STRIP (for Large-Scale Polarization Explorer/Survey Tenerife Polarimeter)
is a 1.5-meter cross Dragonemicrowavetelescope
at Teide Observatory in the Canary Islands.
The instrument was originally
intended to be used along with along with LSPE-SWIPE
in a balloon-borne survey termed LSPE,
but instead, it has been adapted for use from the ground, deployed in 2018.
Both LSPE-STRIP and LSPE-SWIPE are designed to detect CMBpolarization modes, in particular, to attempt detection of B-modes.
