The LIGO-Virgo-KAGRA Collaboration (LVK) is the combined effort
of the operators of gravitational-wave detectorsLIGO, Virgo,
and KAGRA to coordinate their efforts, including
synchronizing their Observing Runs,
promptly combining their analysis and announcements
of GW detections,
and producing combined catalogs of
their detections.
